Leadership and Volunteer Experience

My leadership journey started with The Core Strength Experience, a 3 day seminar led by Michael Bernoff, focusing on personal and professional growth, which helped sharpen my sense of self as well as my focus and motivation for what I want in life. I gained valuable insight on goal-setting, health, finances, and relationships. This, along with DECA, helped build my confidence and leadership skills. At NAU, I was a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority, participating in various philanthropic fundraisers and events. I've volunteered with several organizations, including Foothills Animal Rescue and Paw Placement where I cared for animals and helped with adoptions. My work with the Mollen Foundation began before high school, as a kid myself, I began working with local schools to teach peers and younger students about the importance of exercise and helped to implement nutrition programs aimed at preventing childhood obesity and chronic disease. I also helped plant, and maintain community gardens, deepening my passion in sustainability and giving back to the community.
