Work Experience

I believe that working for a company you truly believe in and support is so important. My first job was at the first ever Flower Child location, a Fox Restaurant concept where I worked for nearly 3 years, a rapidly expanding restaurant which now has over 30 locations throughout the states. During my time there, I provided an exceptional customer experience, took orders, served food, packaged to go orders, bussed tables, trained new employees, opened and closed the restaurant, and advised customers on menu selections based on their needs. I was drawn to Flower Child's commitment to offering yummy food while prioritizing sustainability and healthy living- values I am passionate about. Working here shaped my understanding of how business decisions, like sourcing local and sustainable ingredients, align with a company's long term success in an ever evolving market. More recently, I was a team member of Sandy Paws South Bay, where I provided reliable and compassionate pet care services, offering pet-sitting, dog walking, and in-home care for various pets while their owners were away. My attention to detail and punctuality built strong relationships with over 20 clients, and I maintained open communication by providing regular updates and consistently received positive feedback. Additionally, I worked as a Sales Associate at Nikau Kai, a retail surf shop. My time here further developed my business skills, particularly in customer service, product merchandising, and inventory management. I assisted in creating visually appealing displays, and driving sales. I ensured prompt fulfillment of online orders, from creating made-to-order items to coordinating shipments and managing online inventory, keeping product listing accurate and up to date. These tasks helped me gain a better understanding of retail operations, product marketing, and how strategic merchandising can impact a company's profit.
